Yesterday evening, we hosted a very special party for Pepper Place Market’s Third Thursday event.
We seriously went all out!!
We had a DJ, served snacks, beer + wine, and even gave away a few raffle prizes.
Our very own Lindsie Mosley was set up outside, selling items from her baby + kid’s line Eiley Grae Fabric Company
And that’s not all! We even hosted a dry styling bar and a makeup bar…
Needless to say, if you weren’t there, you really missed out 😉
Thursday also started a benefit we are hosting for Open Hands Overflowing Hearts, which raises money for pediatric cancer. The founder, Kayla Funk, stopped by to enjoy the event + get her hair styled + have her makeup done.
Even if you couldn’t make it to the event, you can still take part in the fundraising efforts for OHOH.
From now until Saturday, 20% of all proceeds made at the salon will go to the cause. You can even stop by and make a donation!
Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children, and it’s estimated that 263,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide.
Childhood cancer treatments have not changed significantly in more than a decade, despite incidences increasing almost 25% in the past 40 years– your donation helps to fund research to change that!
If you’re interested in doing or learning more, check out OHOH.org for more information.
A big thanks to everyone who came out last night, and for the donations already made. We sincerely appreciate you all!
